Sequoya 2021 Holiday Angel Tree Program

For 22 years, Sequoya, Cochise and Cherokee & Cocopah schools have been making the holidays brighter for each and every student at Bethune Elementary School in south central Phoenix. Bethune is the home school to approx. 500 PreK-8th graders. 100% of their students receive free breakfast & lunch at school, which means almost all of their families’ incomes fall far below the Federal Poverty Guideline. A significant number of their families live in unstable home situations; some are homeless. In past years when we have assisted, many parents and children reported that the gift they received from us was the only holiday gift they received that year.
